In creating the basic design of the landing page, we aimed to create something minimal and timeless. By choosing a clean, black and white color palette we allow the artwork to be the focus of the viewer's attention. While building the website, I added simple transitions to the hover states of the buttons to add a layer of user interaction.
In addition to building the landing page, I create the interior mockups used to showcase the artwork. While putting the mockups together, I seek to find similarly designed interior spaces complimentary to the artist's style. The goal of the landing page is to not only show the artists’ work, but to also give visitors the idea of how the finished piece will look in a home or office.
